Geena President

Geena is an MSc in Chemistry and a career educationist. Apart from being an academic for over 15 years, Geena has been passionately involved in providing education to the poor and marginalized communities - with specific focus on making higher education for girls accessible.

Her infectious enthusiasm and proven ability in problem solution, conflict resolution and team building gives stability and direction to DC's leadership.

Anamika Srivastava Founder and Chief Functionary

A senior finance professional, Anamika has more than 18 years of experience overseeing financial management systems with premiere international organizations, United Nation and few big international corporates. Her areas of professional expertise includes strategic financial planning, working capital management, asset based financing, budgeting/forecasting, financial reporting/modeling etc. She is a true problem-solver, leader and consensus-builder and has extensive experience in multi-site and multi-currency environment.

Vithika Yadav Co-founder and Vice President

Vithika Yadav is an anti slavery, sexual rights and gender rights activist; and a social entrepreneur with over fifteen years of experience. In 2016 she received the honor of being one of the Top 120 under 40 New Generation of Family Planning leaders in the world. In 2007 she was awarded the Atlas Corps Fellowship and in 2012 she was awarded as one of the Top 99 under 33 young foreign policy leaders in the world by Diplomatic Courier and Young Professionals in Foreign Policy in USA. Over the years, she has worked for premier organizations such as UN Office on Drugs and Crime, BBC World Service Trust, Free the Slaves and MTV EXIT. Currently Vithika leads Love Matters India, which is the first ever website in India to give complete, honest and unbiased information on love, sex and relationships in India in both Hindi and English language. She is an Alumni of the THNK Amsterdam School of Creative Leadership. She is featured in the Award winning international Documentary.

Arti Shukla Creative Director

Arti Shukla is Creative Director at Love Matters, India's leading sexual and reproductive health and rights platform.

She is also founder of TeenBook, India's first comprehensive life skills resource for adolescents.

Trained at the BBC, she is an experienced editorial leader with over 17 years of expertise in story-telling and research for social change. She also leads the Streeksha project at Development Consortium, which she founded and developed from scratch.

Nandita Baruah

Nandita has over 20 years of professional experience working on gender, human rights, labor migration and human trafficking issues in South and Southeast Asia. In her different roles Nandita Baruah worked to support national governments and civil society partners to design and deliver programs that effectively address the core socio-economic and political dimension of development through a rights-based and gender-equitable framework. She has worked in India, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Cambodia and Nepal. She acts as an exptert and advisor to DC

Sanjeev Kumar Srivastava

Sanjeev has about 30 years of experience in legal support and advise. He has been instrumental in helping and supporting DC to set up in the challenging times. As a legal expert, all legal issues and advocacy is handled by him
